RELX came to TacoBanana with one clear restriction: its product couldn't be sold in traditional channels like convenience stores, nor could it be advertised on social media.
The challenge: launch the brand in Mexico City and build a fully functional sales channel through Instagram.
We designed a strategy focused on collaborative content with a network of influencers—both micro and macro— who became the brand's main spokespersons.
Many of the posts were designed as collaborative posts, and at TacoBanana, we proposed implementing unique codes per influencer to redeem products. This strategy allowed us to accurately measure the sales generated by each influencer, track individual performance, and strategically reinvest in the best-performing talent.
We created more than 120 pieces between photos and videos , aligned by flavor, color, and lifestyle, selecting influencer profiles that would connect naturally with each product variant.

Takeover with Daniel Bautista (Mr. Pig) on September 15
On September 15th, Daniel took over RELX's Instagram account. To follow his stories and concerts in San Miguel, Mexico City, and Acapulco, users had to follow the brand. One of his followers won a full experience traveling with the artist on a private plane for the entire weekend. An initiative that blended music, community, and massive reach.

We created a giveaway with Santiago PGM to take a photography class with a model and Santiago himself. The product was integrated organically into the shoot, which became one of the brand's most viral pieces. The dynamic also required following the RELX account, which triggered significant follower growth.
With a significant capital injection into experiences and influencers during the first six months, RELX managed to establish an active community, grow its follower base to over 100,000, and drive sales through trackable codes and exclusive social media promotions.
A case that proves that when there's no direction, creativity and strategy are everything.
